Welcome to Cottages at the Cape
Located on beautiful Hatteras Island, with ocean and Cape Hatteras Lighthouse views from each unit, the Cottages provide the ultimate Outer Banks vacation experience. The full site is now open and available. The property is located on the end of Old Lighthouse Road in Buxton, North Carolina. If you are in the area stop by and have a look. This photo was taken 09/12/12 from the top of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. It shows Cottages at the Cape in the foreground two buildings deep. There are 45 townhouse units with two, three or four bedrooms. The sandy area in front of the cottages is all that remains of the old Coast Guard Base, and it has been returned to the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. There is great swimming, surfing, kite boarding, and fishing nearby. You can walk the beach all the way to the Lookout Point fishing area.
